Aswan Private Felucca Ride: Sail Around Elephantine Island

We took a private felucca trip, and everything went flawlessly—from the booking process to communicating with the provider and the excursion itself. It was a truly wonderful experience. The guides arrived right on time and escorted us to the felucca. Although we had reserved a private tour with multiple planned stops, one of our group members was limited due to pain, so we couldn’t follow the original plan. Thankfully, the flexibility to have a personalized tour made it enjoyable for all of us. The sailor demonstrated impressive skills, navigating the river safely in all conditions. The guides were very attentive and eager to assist. Along the way, they shared plenty of information about the history and landmarks, displaying excellent knowledge and providing clear, personalized explanations. Many thanks for an outstanding tour!

The tour was enjoyable, and the guide described each stop in a calm and pleasant manner. Although the tour was scheduled for two hours, the duration depends on the wind conditions. Since there was some wind during our trip, the tour lasted only about an hour and a half.

We had a fantastic tour led by a very friendly and well-informed guide. The entire experience went without any issues; the boat trip was enjoyable, and afterwards, our guide even assisted us with a brief shopping stop. Honestly, this is the only tour company in Egypt that I can wholeheartedly recommend. We also booked a different tour with them in Cairo, and it was just as excellent!

Being on a felucca was a really enjoyable experience! Unfortunately, the weather wasn’t favorable for sailing, so a small motorboat towed us instead, but it was still pleasant. Our guides, Mohammad and Mahmoud, were very kind and welcoming.
