This was one of the most relaxed and well-run tours we took in Egypt. The drive was scenic, and every site felt meaningful. The highlight for us was walking through Kom el-Dikka with our guide explaining what life might have been like there. Great mix of education and downtime.

Such a well-rounded experience. I didn’t know much about Alexandria before, but this tour gave me a new appreciation for how many civilizations passed through this city. I particularly liked Pompey’s Pillar and how it stood out against the sky. Would recommend for any curious traveler.

We were three friends traveling together and we all agreed this was one of our favorite days in Egypt. The history of Alexandria was so different from what we’d seen in Cairo and Luxor. The Citadel was stunning, especially with the sea breeze. And we loved the lunch stop—very local, very fresh. Felt like we got a real slice of the city.

If you're into history, this is for you. It’s not just ancient Egypt—you get Roman and Islamic periods too. I liked the mix of architecture, and the guide made sure we understood the context. Qaitbay Citadel at sunset was a great photo op.
