About This Activity

Escape the ordinary with our 2‑Day Cappadocia Trip, a well-orchestrated adventure that whisk you away from Istanbul by flight to the surreal landscapes of Cappadocia. Your journey begins with a hotel pickup, a hassle-free airport transfer, and a short domestic flight. On arrival, a licensed guide will lead you to explore the region’s treasures: the awe-inspiring Göreme Open Air Museum, with its ancient rock-cut churches and vibrant frescoes; the whimsical Devrent Valley, where stones mimic animals and shapes from imagination; and the iconic Paşabağ (Monks Valley), famed for its towering mushroom-like fairy chimneys. This first day culminates in a cozy night's stay in a cave hotel, immersing you in Cappadocia’s culture and charm.

On the second day, wake up revitalized and ready for more exploration. Dive into the history of early Christian refuges with a visit to a hidden Underground City, where ancient dwellers carved labyrinthine chambers beneath the volcanic soil. If you're up for a once-in-a-lifetime experience, opt for a hot air balloon ride over Cappadocia’s sunrise-painted valleys (weather‑permitting). Then, wander through the serene Red and Rose Valleys, known for their pastel-hued ridges and otherworldly atmospheres, before returning to Istanbul with a heart full of memories and a camera full of stunning photos.

This all-encompassing package includes flights, accommodation, guided Red Tour and optional Blue Tour, entrance fees, delicious local lunches, and airport transfers – with no surprises or hidden surcharges. Whether you're chasing cozy cave stays, striking landscapes, or deep historical roots, this trip promises an unforgettable blend of adventure, culture, and convenience.

This trip was fantastic overall. Everything was well organized and meticulously planned. The lunch buffets could have been better, and the quality of the guides was somewhat variable. The company we booked with seemed to be an outsourced coordinator of guides and drivers. However, the hotel was truly exceptional.

Fantastic experience. This is definitely something you should do when visiting Turkey. It’s an excellent way to explore the area, and you’ll have plenty of time for a photo session with the hot air balloons on the morning of the second day. You can enjoy this either from a café or arrange for a driver to take you to the best spots.
